Goals of the course:
Basics in chromatographic purification of recombinant proteins
Analytical methods for quality control of purified proteins

Short description:
Principles of protein purification will be demonstrated including

• Control of purity by SDS-PAGE and mass spectrometry 
• Control of the identity by mass spectrometry
• Screening methods for the optimization of protein purification by liquid chromatography
• Mass spectrometric quantification of proteins
• Application of screening parameters to column liquid chromatography of proteins
